Little Cow Harbor Meets Irene
Little Cow Harbor cheerfully weathered Hurricane Irene, partying on more merrily than ever. Irene provided an excellent excuse for neighbors to catch up with neighbors and to celebrate life with impromptu glasses of wine. Ice to chill the wine was at a premium.
Trees fell. No one was hurt. Our neighborhood loves when no one is hurt. If our animals are safe, then we are even happier.

This was the house, up the hill, across the street:

This is the house one house away, down the hill, behind us.

Lone Oak is what passes for a main throughfare in our hamlet.
This is the tree which blocked Lone Oak all week and made the neighbood crazy.
In Little Cow Harbor we continue to live happily ever after.

Bramble
For anyone who has asked me who "Bramble" is, this is Bramble.
Bramble is a Project Ariadne customized by the Queen of Slantways for the pleasure of the inhabitants of Little Cow Harbor.
Bramble made her debut at the "Uncanny Dream" show in Seattle this year.
