Currently, A.D.'s distinctive sculpts are still being created without the use of molds. Created by hand from German clay, "The Girls", Orchid, Window and Vamp, whom you have so enjoyed seeing in person, are physically huge examples of A.D.'s traditionally smaller ball-jointed figures. "The girls" were created expressly for exhibition and show purposes; they are prototypes for a planned limited edition resin BJD (ball jointed doll) line.

A master and lover of mohair plush, A.D. produces a line of hand sewn animals derived from a vivid imagination and copious sketchbook. Hours and hours of hard work have produced lots and lots of wonderful animals. "Horsey" is outrageously adorable and is the latest cutie to take position next to "Deery", an often gloriously colored vintage deer, and the felted "Kitty" with rhinestone eyes, who is shown above. Kitty and Bunny have been done in too many variations and incarnations to name. For the faint of heart and non-Lovecraftians, I will politely not mention Necromiconey; Necromiconey should come with an added label: erudition required.

Always expecting macabre beautiful fairy tales, there are those of you who tend to tell me, "It's COMIC BOOK-Y!!!!!": Yes; A.D. is a comic book illustrator. A good one. Maybe a superb one. A.D.'s time period is twenty-first century, whereas mine is more than one hundred years prior to that, with colors bright and perky and lines flowing and strong. We have our similarities, we both sculpt and we both sew, but we are entirely different.
