Molding and Casting a Doll Head

 These photos will give you an idea of what the process is to make a doll head.  Dolls are sculpted, then silicone molds are made, then resin is poured, then the resin is cured in pressure pots, then the resin parts are cleaned up.  The dolls are then strung.

A first look at Antoinette.

When I was looking for JoAnne's doll, Antoinette was offered to me.

I snapped her up.

She is on the old Soom body which I love.

I have marvelous scary red eyeballs for her and mahogany colored hair from Germany.

And she will have Sphaler horns; which are golden.
